Making a choice for you and your child.
We absolutely understand that choosing the right preschool is an important decision, which is why we’ve outlined all the important information to help you make your choice.
We would love to speak to you about enrolling your child at Ladybirds Preschool! The first thing to do is to read the information on our website and then contact us to arrange a visit so you can come and see our setting, meet the team and ask any more questions you might have.
If Ladybirds seems like the right place for you and your child, we would ask you to complete an enrolment form so that we can confirm your requested sessions and welcome you to the Ladybirds family! You can also take a virtual tour here.

Once you have enrolled we will email you with the new parent pack (which you can also read here) and confirm the sessions and timings for your child. We will ask you to complete your Early Years Passport - this asks lots of questions about your child, what their interests are, favourite toys and games, what their home routine looks like and important things we may need to know (like names of siblings, family pets or cuddly toys). We try to make this as easy as possible - you can fill the forms in online or request a paper copy.
The next stage will be to invite your child to two induction sessions. The first session will be for 1hr which you will be invited to attend with your child, this is so both you and your child can get familiar with the layout of Ladybirds, go through the day to day runnings like drop off and pick up and what to bring etc.
During the second session we ask you to leave your child with us for a 1 hr visit, so that we can get to know them better, see how well they settle and spend time understanding what some of their favourite things are.
We also offer an ‘at home’ visit for your child’s key person to come and see your child in their own environment. All children are different - we are happy to tailor the induction process to meet the needs of your child and your family.
