Imagine, Explore, Experience - The Joy of Learning!

Ladybirds Preschool is a term time only, charity run preschool for children aged

2.5 - 5years old.

We deliver the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum through play and, just like ladybirds, we are small, colourful and kind! We encourage the children to spread their wings ready to fly into primary school.

Tucked away in a quiet cul-de-sac in Newbury, West Berkshire, we provide a fun and friendly environment for the children, with 3 separate themed rooms, plenty of outdoor play space and two covered areas for all year round fun.

We have an amazing team of dedicated and qualified staff who are here to support you and your child's development and needs. Our team take special care in making everyone feel very welcome into our Ladybirds community.

Open term time only, we can offer morning, afternoon or full day sessions. We organise your claim for the government funded 15hr places and can assist with claims for 2 year old funding and 30 hr funding too!

“Ladybirds is such a fun, happy and safe preschool, the team are just the nicest, the proof is seeing my son run in so excited for another day at Ladybirds and sulking when he has to leave!!.”

Help & Support

We love to include our parents and community within our learning, and massively appreciate any support, so if you have time to volunteer, pop in for a show and tell with your pet, or able to support our fundraising efforts, please contact us as we would be so grateful for any time you can give to helping Ladybirds continue to be the amazing preschool that it is.

Ladybirds is a busy preschool and we constantly require funding to refresh and renew resources. The introduction of new toys, books, games and other learning resources has a fantastic impact on levels of engagement in all areas, which in turn improves development and moves children forward in their child led learning, but we need your help, so if you are able, we would be so grateful.
